Frustrated as we all are with this holding pattern. Love the ideas from the membership committee, happy to help as I can with recruiting for all of our ensembles.

Will get the business registration done this week. 

Jessie, Lee; I know it’s hot but some members have expressed interest in doing some rehearsals outside. If it’s nice do we want to bring those back?

Masks are to be worn in the building at all times if you go to the church.

New passcodes for the church are active.  If you have any problems, reach out the Christian.

Business Operations, Ian

Finally on track with securing venues.  Finalizing paperwork with the Gem Theater and deposits. WWI museum needs to assign a new contact, Ian will move forward with securing.  Membership agreements are active on FlipCause.  He has not pushed out to membership, but will.  Ian is starting to build out the ticketing profiles on FlipCause, but needs concert names.  Regarding comp tickets for dues playing members, we have the option to use a common promo code or individual unique to members.  Based on previous use via Eventbrite, Christian suggested using the promo code for the season, since it has worked in the past.  Membership has  2 different agreements to sign off, Membership Agreement and Covid waiver.  We have the option to include the Covid waiver for ticket buyers, as well.  Thoughts are to potentially have the waivers signed day-of, as well as, displaying verbiage and including in the program.  We will look into following protocol as outlined by Kauffmen and other performance spaces. Ian will send out the membership dues like to board to “test” and pay dues, before pushing out to membership.

Looking for thoughts on Bad Drag - should we pursue a fall date?

We will plan on waiting to see the outcome of the recent increase in transmission.  We hopefully will be able to look at a spring date for Bad Drag.

Lanyards and other name badge supplies are in and ready to be put together when we go back to rehearsal. The last season that we rehearsed in person, we provided music folders for members. Are we able to do that this year as well? 

Membership committee is looking at creating sub committees within itself to better focus on projects based on end goal. Currently considering a Retention and Recruiting focused team and also a Membership and Community Outreach team. These will be headed by committee members that are not the committee chair.

Pride Parade

We decided to hold on filling out the application because of the lack of communication and covid surge.  At this point we will not participate in the 2021 Pride Parade due to the state of covid.  Christian will send a message to membership regarding the status of pride and why we are not participating.  If anyone has any questions or comments, please reach out to Christian.
